This was a comfortable and convenient place to stay in one of the busy parts of Florence. The room was at the rear of the building, on the top floor, accessible via a lift. It was very quiet at night, and sunny during the day. The bed and pillows offered excellent comfort for a good sleep, and the shower was hot and strong. The reception staff I encountered were always friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the fellow who checked me in - he was efficient and informative and extremely polite. Its great location meant it was only a short, flat walk to the airport tram - at €1.70 that was the cheapest, easiest trip I've ever had to an airport, anywhere.

The location of the hotel is great… very close to the train station and the tram, on a main piazza of Florence, so there are restaurants and shops close by. The room was clean, quiet and air-conditioned. It had all the basic amenities and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful and upbeat. They allowed me to store luggage for a few days, even though I was staying just one night, before catching an early flight.

It was a great room overlooking the Piazza Santa Maria Novella and a 5 min walk from the Florence Train Station. Loved the location as it was close to everything and you could open the windows to let fresh air in. Loved that they allowed us early check-in and felt safe with a 24 hr front desk. They had a lift, too, which is important when you're a senior and have heavy luggage. I'd stay here again :-)

You can walk from all the main sightseeing locations without having to take public transport. Also spoiled for food choices.
